SEMALAM kecoh di media sosial Kementerian Kerja Raya Malaysia (KKRM) mengumumkan akan memansuhkan sistem pembayaran di seluruh plaza tol lebuh raya Pantai Barat Semenanjung Malaysia menggunakan kad Touch ‘n Go dan SmartTAG bermula Januari tahun depan.
Mekanisme lama itu akan dihentikan berperingkat bagi memberikan laluan kepada sistem RFID, sekali gus ke arah sistem lebuh raya tanpa palang seiring perkembangan teknologi masa kini.

Namun bagi pengguna RFID dalam video di atas ini, sistem tersebut baru saja meninggalkan mimpi ngeri dalam hidupnya apabila keretanya 'jahanam' di beberapa bahagian dan calar teruk akibat kesilapan sistem RFID tersebut. Insiden berlaku Rabu lalu ketika dia melalui plaza tol Lebuhraya Baru Pantai (NPE) di Kuala Lumpur.
Insiden itu sempat dirakamkan kamera pemuka (dashcam) keretanya dan kemudian dimuat naik dalam akaun TikTok @j_cy99 yang kini mula tular.
Menerusi rakaman itu, pemandu dashcam itu dilihat masuk ke laluan RFID dan menunjukkan bayaran tol ditolak sebelum palang terbuka. Tetapi entah kenapa palang tol RFID itu ditutup tiba-tiba tidak sampai beberapa saat ketika keluar dari lorong tol hingga menyebabkan keretanya terlanggar palang tol tersebut.
Dalam kapsyen, pemandu itu mendakwa sudah membuat aduan mengenai insiden tersebut, tetapi masih tiada sebarang maklum balas daripada pihak RFID.
Rata-rata netizen meninggalkan respon wanita itu bernasib baik kerana ada dashcam sebagai bukti menunjukkan sistem RFID bermasalah hingga menyebabkan kejadian rempuhan palang tol berlaku.

The RFID system are created to omit barrier , study still needed since this system had more complex disruption such as overlap bar code usage , duplicate of coding that can synchronise to personal banking data .
Further more why PLUS think this system are effective and better than previous method?
Are they friendly user, first of thought in mind or just to favour the sake of stack holder that benefits politician rather to public.
For example e payment for road user still using card method, and therefore if such radio frequency method are so advance, why singapore not adapt?
Who ever holding power to decide this technology please re consider of the impact and result of this changes! Malaysia government should consider served and priority public first rather than doing favor to tripartite . They have their own corporation and commercial agenda , they never think of the difficulty keluarga malaysia going to face in present and future!
My advise , Do not change if changes bring troublesome and problematic to rakyat! Listen to rakyat voice, make ballot to change anything that effect rakyat! Being authority doesn't mean autocracy ,

RFID tak begitu efisen dan agak menyusahkan bagi yg ada lebih drp 1 kereta. Cuba fikir jika seorang oner tu ada 5 buah kereta..setiap kereta ada akaun rfid yg berasingan..

i was about to install Rafid today....couldnt do so bcos ewallet cant be activated.i ve to fill forms of the car owner...when the car is not under my name.after a long...ive to abandon the idea of installing RAFID.ITS SO.MESSY

Kad touch n go kau boleh bawak mana2. Boleh guna kat Mydin, kat merata2 Mall, car park, LRT, mana-mana selain drp kat tol hiway.
Bila sentuh kat TnG kat barrier gate, dah tentu kreta kau dah ada atas "gate sensor".
Kalau kad simpan dlm kereta, selit2 org x jumpa.
Rfid boleh buat camtu ke? Kalau kene kopek, aku dah x boleh guna, kene beli lain, duit lagi...
